We are in the process of buying ground and building a new facility! We have our fingers crossed to be accepting out first client dog this winter 2024!
The new kennels will have 5x5 inside areas with 5x20 outside runs, and a doggie door connecting them. Heated in the winter, and AC in the summer! Dogs will love being able to go outside whenever they want! Even smaller dogs will love it! Of course, the doggie door can be tricky, but we will help teach/walk them through it!
We can't wait to have something amazing for the area of Avoca! Your dog(s) will love us, as much as we will love them! We treat every dog as our own!
We also plan to have a training room for classes! And we will, eventually, be constructing a small grooming area/room! We will also have a small coffee area and gift shop!

Owner, Jessica Luke, holds a Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science; with a pre-veterinary medicine focus. She has been involved in dog rescue and rehabilitation, as a director of a rescue in Omaha, Nebraska for over 12 years. Jessica has had over 200 dogs come through her hands in the rescue world, with many more, since moving to Avoca, Iowa in fall of 2017. This move prompt her into making her dog care and boarding passion, a focus! She had remodeled an old barn on her property, adding 6 indoor/outdoor kennels, primarily for her own dogs. She started taking friends and family's dogs, when they would go out of town and needed a place for their beloved pets to go. Another option, than the vet's office. This quickly became a need and want in the area! And business took off like wildfire!
Now she is moving forward with a large SBA loan to build a 17 kennel facility with many additional amenities!
This is truly an exciting addition to the Avoca area!
