Avoca Main Street Executive Director

Avoca Main Street in rural southwest Iowa is seeking a part-time executive director to coordinate downtown revitalization activities using the Main Street Approach™. An applicant should possess excellent communication, public relations, and managerial abilities, with a strong administrative background. Previous nonprofit experience desired, with a background in the areas of special event planning, small business development, or volunteer recruitment. Management experience is a plus. Position requires a dynamic, outgoing team player with the proven ability to multitask and work in an independent environment. Requires the ability to work with both the public and private sectors and to travel in-state for required trainings.
